Most often, music plays such a great role in my ability to imagine and to flesh out a scene. I love the emotion it can evoke, therefore causing you to think and create in ways that you never would have thought of! These are two of my favorite scores from the film Pride and Prejudice.

Prompt: Find a song or score that you love, and make it your story's own. Try to distance yourself from all of the images associated with the work that it is attached to, and instead embed it into the fabric of your story!

{This post is dedicated to Casee of The Girl Who Stole the Eiffel Tower, for showing me how to minimize youtube videos!}

  1. I love this soundtrack, great that you posted it as inspiration!

    Also, how DO you do a smaller youtube video? Would you be able to e-mail me some instruction, if you have the time?

    As a last note, I have a new NaNoWriMo username. Add me: Karakurimi (if you have an account on their site)

  2. Oh my gosh, I just did a post about things that help me with NaNoWriMo and music was first on the list, haha. I've been listening to the Pride and Prejudice score with my novel this year - it's beautiful! It's undoubtedly the one I listen to the most even when I'm not writing. It captures so much, and it's so memorable.

    Aww, thanks for the dedication! That made me smile. xo
