Tea Rose, Varnish, and Touch

I  had a wonderful week back in the UK, and the sun even peeked out of the fog and cumulus bursts to meet with me for a spell! This evening I had a date with high street, and combed the shops looking for something lovely to wear to a possibly romantic affair. I ended up in front of a Sale rack in H & M and at the fragrance counter in SuperDrug, a local chemist chain in the UK.

There's nothing better than a bit of retail therapy, especially when you've been wanting one for a while! I had no idea that H & M sold beauty products so I had to jump on this discovery! The Peach Blossom body butter smells lovely! I've also taken to more neutral colored nail varnishes, but of course I had to throw in a splash of aqua! Burberry Touch is the new love of my life.

Tomorrow, I'm going to start my musical journey when I pick up my Ukulele! There will be more posts on 'him' soon enough.

I also wanted to let you know of some new additions coming to Forelsket that I'm excited about! It seems I've been having quite fashion/beauty related inspiration lately, which is awesome; But I definitely don't want to deviate from one of the points of this blog, which is to encourage you to fall in love with your life. With this is mind, I've decided to conduct a series of interviews called 'Forelsket Sparks,' which would include experiences from bloggers, creatives, musicians, etc, who have inspired me, and whom I hope will inspire you to get out there and get chasing your dreams. Watch out for my very first interview within the next month.

Also, a destination surprise is coming. You'll see when I blog about it. Got any macaroons? wink wink...

What are you dreaming about these days?

Wishpot Picks No.1: Mod Cloth

Salut, my lovelies!

After observing my great friend, Casee , post wonderful Wishpot Wednesday picks, I could not resist posting some of my own! If you are not aware of Wishpot, it's a wonderful site that enables users to collect pictures of their favorite wishes all around the net! It's wonderful!

This week, I've taken up 8 wishes from Modcloth, one of the best shops combining whimsical-vintage with modern flare:

Wild About Blue Cardigan $39.99

You're a Gem Bag $79.99

I adore most things from ModCloth, but these are items that I have to try and make a reality this year, especially the black coat! I'm working on choosing pieces that will enliven my wardrobe and last. I can't wait to see how my wardrobe changes by the summer time. My sister, Ashley, has taught me that we really need no reason, save being alive, to dress wonderfully and put your best foot forward everyday!

Bonne Nuit!

Lolita Clutch

Photobucket

Moving right along with my Black Swan themed night, Natalie Portman looked really beautiful in her gothic themed ensemble for the premiere. But the capture of my eye is this adorable Lolita clutch bag! Is this not the most gorgeous literary themed purse? I would love the clutch to represent a different novel, although Nabokov is one of my favorite writers. Perhaps, a Jane Austen novel, or certainly On the Road by Jack Kerouac, Romeo and Juliet, or even dare I say...Twilight! I adore her ring as well!

You have a right to remain romantic...

I have pilfered this adorable ring from the lovely Carrie of WishWishWish! For some reason, (aside from loving bunnies of any breed) I've become quite infatuated with bunny faces, particularly in fashion! Like Carrie, I'm normally not a ring person, that's more my 'sister' Ashley, who's never without a huge bauble encrusting her fingers. This ring was created by a jeweler called Me & Zena! They've defined themselves as jewelers who create 'for the unruly.' With this in mind, their shop is teeming with color, and random bits which I find myself unable to resist!  This ring also comes in a silver setting with blue coloured stones, which I may favor more, as Blue is my color!

I've also found this awesome tote which defines a part of me! Jabs are always taken at the romantic's expense, but nows the time to wave your banner proudly! Me & Zena gets my star of approval because they create for those of us who love putting a bit of imagination, playfulness, and colorful whimsy into our wardrobe!
